Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. This day is set aside for rest and acclimatization after your international journey. The lodge is located in a peaceful setting, offering comfortable rooms, gardens and views of Mount Meru or the surrounding countryside. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge, enjoy the swimming pool or take a short walk around the property. In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed safari briefing, explaining the itinerary, wildlife expectations and safety guidelines. Dinner will be served at the lodge, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The park is well known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and varied landscapes of open savannah, seasonal swamps and riverine woodland. Enjoy a full-day game drive as wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. You may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and a wide variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by continued game viewing in the afternoon. Later, drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This vast volcanic caldera forms a natural enclosure that supports a very high concentration of wildlife throughout the year. During your game drive, look for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas and the endangered black rhino, as well as flamingos around the soda lake. The crater’s mix of grasslands, wetlands and forests provides excellent photographic opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing game viewing. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Game viewing starts as soon as you enter the park, with vast open plains stretching to the horizon. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti, an area known for its resident predators and abundant wildlife year-round. Lions, cheetahs, leopards and large herds of zebras and wildebeest are commonly seen. The rocky kopjes provide shelter for predators and excellent viewpoints. As the day ends, proceed to your lodge or tented camp located inside the park. Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park & Departure

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive toward Lake Manyara National Park for your final safari experience. This compact yet diverse park is famous for its lush groundwater forests, open grassy floodplains and lakeshore scenery beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. During your game drive, look for elephants, baboons, giraffes, buffalo, hippos and a wide variety of birdlife, including pelicans and flamingos. Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, though sightings are not guaranteed. After completing the game drive, enjoy lunch before returning to Arusha and transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure.
