Day 1

Your safari adventure begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley, offering breathtaking viewpoints and photographic stops along the way. You will arrive at Lake Elementaita in time to settle in and relax before the afternoon activity. After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive around the lake and its surrounding conservation areas. This drive is particularly rewarding as Lake Elementaita is famous for its thousands of flamingos that create a stunning pink shoreline, alongside pelicans, cormorants, and other water birds. You may also encounter zebras, gazelles, warthogs, and other plains wildlife roaming nearby. As the sun sets, the golden reflections over the lake provide a perfect end to the day before returning to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will depart Lake Elementaita and journey towards the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through picturesque countryside dotted with farms and traditional homesteads. Upon arrival in the Mara, you will enter the reserve and begin your first game viewing experience in this iconic ecosystem. The vast open savannahs are home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and a wide variety of antelopes. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards are frequently spotted resting under acacia trees or stalking prey. The remainder of the day is spent exploring different sections of the reserve before proceeding to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.
