After an early breakfast, we set off on the road, leaving the city behind for the scenic drive to Lake Nakuru. The journey itself is a treat, offering sweeping views as we approach the park. We arrived at our accommodation with perfect timing, settling into our rooms before sitting down for a well-deserved lunch. By mid-afternoon, we were eager to explore, heading out for our first game drive. The park did not disappoint, offering sightings of incredible wildlife against the backdrop of the soda lake. We returned to the lodge as the sun began to set, taking time to enjoy the facilities and relax. We ended the day with a lovely dinner and a peaceful night’s sleep, ready for whatever tomorrow brings.
