Your safari adventure begins with a warm welcome in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive north through Kenya’s central highlands toward the rugged beauty of Buffalo Springs National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will check into your luxury lodge, set along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. After lunch and time to relax, you’ll head out for your first game drive, where the arid landscape reveals unique wildlife such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx, and elephants gathering near the water. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner and a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by nature.

Today is dedicated to fully exploring Buffalo Springs at a relaxed and immersive pace. After breakfast, enjoy an extensive game drive across the reserve’s striking terrain of palm-lined springs, lava plains, and riverine forests. The area is renowned for its rare northern species and excellent birdlife. You will return to the lodge for lunch and leisure time, allowing you to unwind by the pool or enjoy the serene surroundings. Later in the afternoon, another game drive offers more wildlife encounters under golden light, before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will depart Buffalo Springs and journey south toward the lush, forested highlands of Aberdare National Park. The dramatic change in scenery is striking, from dry savannah to misty mountains and dense forests. Upon arrival, you will check into your iconic luxury lodge overlooking a waterhole and salt lick, where wildlife visits throughout the day. The afternoon is spent at leisure, quietly observing elephants, buffaloes, and other forest animals from the lodge’s viewing decks. Dinner and overnight are enjoyed in this unique and tranquil setting.

Following breakfast, you will descend from the Aberdare highlands and drive toward the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at your luxury lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through this compact yet wildlife-rich park, famous for its rhino sanctuary, Rothschild’s giraffes, tree-climbing lions, and seasonal flamingos along the lake shores. The park’s scenic viewpoints and wooded grasslands make for excellent photography. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay overlooking the park.
