Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Entebbe and begin the scenic drive west toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey passes through rural towns, rolling hills, and tea plantations, offering a glimpse of everyday life in Uganda. A lunch stop is made en route before continuing to the park. Arrival is in the late afternoon, followed by check-in at your lodge. The remainder of the day is spent relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings in preparation for the wildlife activities ahead.

Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Accompanied by your professional driver-guide, you explore the park’s savannah plains searching for elephants, lions, buffalo, antelope, warthogs, and a wide variety of bird species. After returning to the lodge for breakfast and rest, enjoy an afternoon boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. This cruise offers close views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and animals gathering along the water’s edge.

Second Game Drive or Optional Ishasha Sector Visit

After breakfast, head out for a second game drive in a different section of Queen Elizabeth National Park to increase wildlife viewing opportunities. Alternatively, depending on preference and conditions, you may drive toward the Ishasha sector, an area known for its tree-climbing lions (sightings depend on wildlife movement). The afternoon is spent at leisure back at the lodge, allowing time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Queen Elizabeth – Entebbe & Departure

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Entebbe, traveling through western and central Uganda with planned stops along the way. This scenic drive provides a final opportunity to reflect on the safari experience. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you are transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of the wildlife safari.
