Nairobi - Amboseli

Pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport at 0700 Hrs. We depart from Nairobi for a four-hour drive south to Amboseli National Park, to arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, a mid-luxury tented camp situated within the Amboseli dispersal area bordering the national reserve. After an early afternoon at leisure, we proceed for game drive at 3:00pm in the park. With its backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and abundant wildlife, Amboseli provides an unrivaled spectacle of Kenya’s natural beauty. Keep your eyes open and your camera within reach, as you can expect to see large herds of elephants and plains game, giraffes, gazelles, lions, leopards among others during our game drives throughout this three-day tour.

Amboseli National Park Game Viewing

Today, we will spend a whole day in Amboseli National Park. For the absolute best views of Kilimanjaro, you must wake up for the sunrise. The early morning sun casts Kilimanjaro in a fantastic light, turning its snow pink and its mountainside a deep purple that has to be seen to be believed. It makes a remarkable setting for your breakfast. After breakfast, depart for the park and enjoy a full-day game drive exploring Amboseli National Park. Enjoy your packed lunch at the observation hill inside the park. In the afternoon, exit the park for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
