Khwai Reserve

Pick up from Maun International Airport, meet your professional safari guide for a short introduction and briefing on what to expect on your safari. Then head out to Khwai Reserve, about a 3-4-hour drive depending on what you see along the way. On arrival, find our camp already set up by our camp staff. Take a siesta, shower, enjoy dinner around the fire, share your day's experiences before a good night's sleep, and get ready for the next day.

Khwai is a community-run reserve that we think is a really good area with good resident wildlife and beautiful landscape. It gives back to the surrounding villages, so that wildlife and conservation also become important to the people living in the area. Khwai allows off-roading, which could be a great opportunity for you to see animals up close. The main focus will be on predators, but we can expect to see more animals such as giraffes, impalas, wildebeest, zebras, and wild dogs. We end each day with a glass of G&T, wine and drinks at sunset.

Moremi Game Reserve

Wake up early for a full breakfast before we head out for Moremi Game Reserve. The main focus will be on big game, with more action at this destination. A packed lunch will be carried with us on full-day game drives until sunset. We expect to see lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, elephants, more bird species, and other wildlife, not forgetting the wild dogs. On both days, we spend the entire time on full game drives, choosing more productive areas for the best safari experience. For amazing sunsets, we look for good spots overlooking lagoons or pans.

Later, return to the camp, take a siesta, shower, and enjoy dinner. Then, share your daily experience with your professional safari guide around the fire. Have a good night's sleep under canvas.

Moremi to Maun

Wake up early in the morning for a full breakfast, and get ready as our team breaks the camp. We shake hands as a common, warm farewell and respectful way to say goodbye at the end of a safari, especially when parting ways with camp staff and your guide.
