You’ll be picked up early from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel by your professional safari guide. The journey heads west through the Great Rift Valley, with scenic viewpoints along the way. Arrive in the Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch, followed by your first afternoon game drive. This is often an exciting introduction, with chances to spot: Lions and cheetahs, Elephants and buffalo, Giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. As the sun sets over the savannah, you return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay, listening to distant animal calls.
