Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

This budget wildlife safari starts with a confirmed pick-up, followed by a transfer to our office for a briefing and introduction. The safari starts between 08:00 am and 08:30 am with a drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall. Travel continues to Narok town for some snacks and brief shopping before the safari deepens into the Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving at Miti Mingi Eco Camp for check in and lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive until sunset, followed by dinner, a bonfire, and your overnight stay at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Today’s safari starts with a scheduled experience in the Masai Mara, which has been called the “jewel” of wildlife viewing areas. After breakfast at the campsite, you will leave with packed picnic lunch boxes in hand for a game drive. You will search for the “Big Five” and other wild animals that inhabit the reserve. Break for a picnic lunch in the open wilderness and continue the game drive until late evening. You will then exit the park and drive back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, we will visit the nearby Maasai village for a cultural tour and interaction with the locals. Meet the community at their homesteads and enjoy Maasai dances. Later, you will check out and depart for Lake Nakuru via Narok, enjoying great views of the Rift Valley and arriving at a Nakuru budget hotel in the early evening. After check in you will spend the evening at your leisure.

Lake Nakuru National Park - Amboseli National Park

Have breakfast at the hotel, then check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for at least four hours of game driving. Lake Nakuru is one of the most beautiful national parks in Kenya and is home to many bird species, offering sweet melodious sounds. The park is also home to the endangered black and white rhinoceros. Before noon, exit the park and drive to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival in the late evening, dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Amboseli National Park

In the morning you will eat breakfast at the campsite while enjoying the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting. By 09:00 hrs, leave the campsite for a full-day safari experience across Amboseli National Park. Traverse the Amboseli plains on a game drive, visit the Amboseli viewpoint for thrilling views, and continue searching for game until reaching the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. By 17:00 hrs, after a great Amboseli National Park experience, you will exit the park and drive back to the campsite for at least two hours of optional activities. Dinner, a bonfire, and your overnight stay will be at the same campsite.

Amboseli National Park - Arusha

After an early breakfast at the campsite, you will check out and drive to Amboseli National Park for a game drive en route to the Namanga border. It is at least a 2.5-hour drive from Amboseli Kimana Gate to Amboseli Mashenani Gate. Exit the park and proceed to the Namanga border for immigration and health formalities. At around 10:00 am, the shuttle from Nairobi will pick you up for the drive to Arusha Town, where our safari will continue for four days as you cover the Northern Tanzania parks. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Arusha.

Arusha - Serengeti National Park

Have breakfast at your Arusha hotel, then meet our staff and driver-guide for a briefing about the next few days of your trip. You will then leave Arusha for a six-hour drive to Serengeti National Park with lunch en route. Upon arrival at the main gate, you will complete registration formalities, followed by a game drive to the camp located in the Central Serengeti. Today you are scheduled for at least a three-hour game drive, after which dinner and your overnight stay will be at that camp.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Have an early breakfast at the camp, then leave with picnic lunches in hand for a (minimum) six-hour game drive within Serengeti National Park. Here you will track wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, lions, lionesses, black rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, bushbuck, lesser kudu, wild dogs, kongoni, impalas, Grant’s gazelles, black-backed jackals, mongooses, olive baboons, and vervet monkeys—among others. After leaving the park around noon, you may pay a stop at the Olduvai Gorge at an extra cost of $45 per person. You will arrive in the conservancy area in the evening, where dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast at the camp, you will depart for a game drive within the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will descend into the crater for wildlife viewing. You will be able to see common lions, African elephants, black rhinos, blue wildebeest, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, Grant’s zebras, African buffalo, and hippopotamuses around the crater floor and rim. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater rim, then begin ascending to the main gate. After completing the six-hour crater experience, you will exit and begin the drive to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
