Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

On day one of your safari, you will be picked up from Nairobi by your driver-guide and drive south to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. The drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Arrive at camp in time for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive until 3:30 pm. Return to the camp for dinner and rest.

Meals: Lunch, dinner and water.

Amboseli National Park

Awake to the noisy calls of the birds and beautiful views of the ice-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, drive with a picnic lunch through the bush into Amboseli National Park, for a game viewing in the Amboseli Game Reserve.

Get a chance to interact with the giant elephants of Amboseli National Park, the big cats, and bird species such as the lesser and greater flamingos. Enjoy a sweeping view of Amboseli National Park from the viewpoint as elephants and hippos graze. Return to camp for dinner and a good night's rest.

Amboseli National Park to Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart Amboseli at 7:00 am for a road trip, arriving at Mai Mahiu via Nairobi for lunch between 1:00 and 2:00 pm. After lunch, continue to the Masai Mara National Reserve (3 to 4 hours). You will arrive at the Masai Mara Camp between 5:30 and 6:30 pm for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

On your fourth day, you will start with breakfast, then enjoy a comprehensive full-day game drive with a picnic lunch with a packed lunch box. You will spend the rest of the day in the Masai Mara National Reserve exploring and finding the elusive Big 5.

The Masai Mara is home to lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, leopards, gazelles, hyenas, and a variety of bird species. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

On the last day, after breakfast, we will take an early-morning game drive, then enjoy the road trip back to Nairobi. Drop-off time is approximately 4 pm at the Nairobi Airport or at the hotel.

This marks the end of your 5-day safari tour of Amboseli and the Masai Mara.

If you intend to visit the Maasai village on the last day, a standard fee of $ 20 per person applies.
