Transfer from Kigali to Volcano National Park

Pick up at the Hotel. After breakfast, take a complimentary city tour to visit interesting tourist spots in the city, including the craft market, Gisozi genocide memorial site, Kigali museums, and other tourist spots. After lunch, drive towards Volcano National Park and check in at Five Volcanoes Boutique hotel.

Gorilla trekking

Rise early in the morning, have breakfast, and proceed to Volcano National Park in Musanze district. Head to the park offices for a briefing about the gorillas and the allocation of Gorilla groups and guides. Afterwards, get into the tropical rainforest and search for the mountain gorillas, starting from where they were the previous day, until you find them. You will find them doing their daily chores of feeding their young ones, climbing trees, and others just relaxing. Take your best photographs, having switched off your flash. This exercise takes 1 hour, then return to the hotel for lunch.

Secind Gorilla trekking

Back at Volcano National Park for the second day of Gorilla trekking. On this day, you will visit the Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. You will again have to be at the main office at 7:00 a.m. for a short briefing before your trek. Return at lunch and relax at the hotel, in the afternoon visit Ibyiwacu Cuoture village centre.

Golden Monkey trekking

Another day of trekking is the Golden Monkey trek. After breakfast, assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing. You will meet your guide, who will guide you as you trek to the monkeys. This takes 1 - 3 hours on average, depending on the pace of the climber; you will return to the lodge for Lunch, drive back to Kigali and checkin at the Governor's residence or at Serena.

After breakfast, drive through rolling farms and Maasai country toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Check in at your lodge perched in the cool highlands. This afternoon, take a guided nature walk on the lodge grounds or along the rim forest (where permitted), watching for turacos and colobus monkeys.
