Antananarivo – Andasibe (170 Km, 5-hour drive)

Start your adventure with a morning departure from Antananarivo. As you journey towards Andasibe, take a stop at Peyrieras Exotic Reptile and Butterfly Farm. Here, you'll explore a diverse collection of reptiles and butterflies.
Continue your drive to Andasibe and check into your hotel. In the evening, embark on a night walk in voimma where you'll have the opportunity to discover nocturnal creatures.

Andasibe

Begin the day with breakfast at your hotel. In the morning, venture into the lush Analamazaotra National Park for a guided walk through the rainforest. Keep an eye out for the distinctive Indri lemurs, the largest lemurs in Madagascar. You'll also have the chance to spot various other lemur species and exotic birds. In the afternoon, you will visit Vakona Private Reserve. Here, you can interact with lemurs up close and personal, surrounded by lush greenery.

Andasibe- Manambato- Ankanin'ny Nofy (140km)

After breakfast, you will drive to Manambato (3 hours), with a stop to visit the town of Brickaville, an old colonial city known for its sugar cane plantation. Then, continue on a dirt track to Manambato, where we will take a 1-hour boat transfer to Akanin’ ny Nofy. We will cross Rasoabe Lake and then the Pangalanes channel, arriving in the afternoon. At 5:30 pm, you will take a 30-minute boat ride across Ampitabe Lake to visit the aye-aye island, a newly created park to protect the endangered lemurs aye-aye. This 1-hour visit will allow us to see these unique and seldom-seen lemurs up close in their natural habitat.

Aninin'ny Nofy

After breakfast, you’ll have another hike to explore Palmarium private park which is home to 7 species of lemurs, with “ Indri Indri” as a highlight, many species of reptiles and birds. Flora is also very rich with its garden of palm trees, orchids and the famous vanilla. Since the bungalows are situated inside the park, guests will be permanently in contact with lemurs.
Surrounded by a huge lake, this is one of the few places ideal for rest in the middle of nature. Afternoon visit of Andranokoditra village. Another night walk in Aye-Aye Island.

Ankinin'ny Nofy- Toamasina- Mahambo

After breakfast, you will board the boat to begin our journey to Toamasina. You will take the picturesque Canal de Pangalanes, where we will be able to admire the stunning views of the fishing villages along the banks of the canal as you cruise for approximately three hours. From the boat, we can take in the beauty of the area and enjoy the journey.
Upon arrival in Toamasina, your driver will collect you at the river port, then you will have lunch in town(lunch not included) After lunch, we are heading to Mahambo(85 km). The drive is approximately two hours. You'll drive along the coast, with views of the Indian Ocean.

Mahambo - Saint Marie

After breakfast, around 9:30 AM, you'll board the El Condor for a three-hour journey to Sainte-Marie. You'll arrive on the island in the afternoon. The El Condors schedule for this day has not yet been published, so there's a possibility it may not be operating. Closer to the date, we will confirm whether the transfer will be via El Condor from Mahambo or if we will drive north to Soanierana Ivongo and cross with Gasikara Be. The only difference would be an earlier wake-up time. We'll inform you in advance once the booking is finalized.
Upon your arrival at Sainte-Marie port, you will be transferred to your hotel. The hotel will handle this transfer for you.
