Day 1

Early in the morning, around 6:00 AM (pickup time may vary by hotel), you will be transferred to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight from Dar es Salaam to the Central Serengeti, arriving at Seronera Airstrip at about 10:50 AM. On arrival, you will meet your professional safari guide and begin your game drive immediately.

Explore the world-famous Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves. Its vast plains support large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, elephants, giraffes, eland, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles, along with iconic predators such as lions and leopards often seen in the wild. Enjoy an exciting game drive through this stunning landscape, pause for a picnic lunch, and continue discovering the park’s abundant wildlife.

In the late afternoon, return to your lodge or camp to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

After a hearty breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to enjoy a thrilling en route game drive.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is celebrated for its extraordinary natural beauty and cultural importance. Descending into the crater offers outstanding wildlife viewing, with chances to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino—alongside diverse birdlife, including flamingos found around the crater’s lakes. The dramatic landscapes and dense wildlife make every moment unforgettable, so keep your camera ready.

Later, you’ll head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Tarangire and Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, depart from lodge at 7:00am and take you to Tarangire national park.

Tarangire is renowned for its rich biodiversity and large elephant populations. Its varied landscapes range from seasonal swamps to open savannah, with the Tarangire River flowing through the park. You might witness a lion stalking its prey or spot leopards lounging in the branches above. You will enjoy a game drive, stop for a picnic lunch, and then continue exploring the park.

In the afternoon, you will transfer to Arusha Airport to catch your 4:30 PM flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
