Day 5
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, and is especially famous for the Great Migration of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. The timing of their migration depends on rainfall and varies each year. In November and December, the animals move from the northern woodlands and hills to the grassy plains of the south, while during the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. In addition to the migrating herds, you may encounter resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, witnessing their role in the circle of life. In the evening, you will return to the campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.
