1-Day Amboseli Big Tusker and Kilimanjaro Viewing Safari

Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive south toward Amboseli National Park. On clear days, Mount Kilimanjaro comes into view as you approach the park, creating a dramatic welcome.

Upon entering Amboseli National Park, you start a short game drive as you head deeper into the park, with early chances to spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, and birdlife. You continue exploring the park’s open savannahs, acacia woodlands, and southern floodplains, which act as a vital refuge for wildlife during the dry season thanks to permanent water sources.

Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and excellent wildlife viewing, offering opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birds, all set against the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You continue with game drives until the early evening, then exit the park and return to Nairobi, arriving later in the evening.
