Scenic Drive & Afternoon Game Drives

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive south toward Amboseli National Park through open plains and rural landscapes. On clear days, Mount Kilimanjaro comes into view as you approach the park, offering a dramatic welcome. Upon entering the park, you begin your first game drive, with opportunities to spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, and abundant birdlife as you explore the open savannahs and acacia woodlands.

You continue with game drives across Amboseli, including the southern floodplains, which serve as an important refuge for wildlife during the dry season due to permanent water sources. As the afternoon progresses, you exit the park and head to Nyati Safari Camp, conveniently located at the park gate, where you check in and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Early the next morning, you return to Amboseli National Park for another game drive, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and also offers sightings of lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, wildebeest, and rich birdlife, all set against the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. After your final game drive, you begin the return journey to Nairobi, arriving later in the day with lasting memories of Amboseli’s wildlife, landscapes, and breathtaking scenery.
