Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional Safari Nuggets representative. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to Arusha town, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Enjoy scenic views of Mount Meru along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and take time to relax, refresh, and recover from your international journey. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to unwind and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated wildlife gems. The park is renowned for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and impressive concentration of wildlife. Enjoy an extensive game drive through diverse habitats, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, exit Tarangire and drive to the cooler highlands of Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking highland scenery and possible wildlife sightings along the way. Continue towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, with its endless savannah plains stretching as far as the eye can see. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, your first introduction to Serengeti’s abundant wildlife, including big cats and large herbivore herds. Later, proceed to your camp for dinner and overnight under the African sky.

The crater floor hosts an incredible concentration of animals, including the Big Five, within a unique and self-contained ecosystem. Enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch inside the crater.
