Your journey begins as you leave Arusha and travel toward Tarangire National Park, an area known for its striking baobab trees and large elephant populations. Upon entering the park, you’ll start exploring its varied landscapes of river valleys, acacia woodland, and open plains. Wildlife is often plentiful, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions. You’ll pause for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game viewing. Later, you’ll drive to your campsite located outside the park for dinner and a peaceful night in nature.

Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

On next day head toward the legendary Serengeti, passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The route offers beautiful highland views and glimpses of Maasai communities along the way. As the land flattens, the famous Serengeti plains unfold before you. Following lunch, then you begin an afternoon game drive, where herds of wildebeest and zebras roam and predators such as lions and cheetahs may be seen. By evening, you’ll arrive at Seronera Campsite in central Serengeti, where the sounds of the wilderness surround you.

This day is devoted to discovering more of the Serengeti’s rich wildlife. An early start gives you the best opportunity to observe predators while they are still active in the cool morning hours. As the sun rises, the plains come alive with movement and color. After returning to camp for lunch and relaxation, you’ll head out again for another game drive in a different area, offering fresh wildlife encounters and scenery. You’ll spend another night at Seronera Campsite under the African sky.

Day 4

You’ll set out early for a final morning drive in the Serengeti, taking in the peaceful dawn atmosphere and any last wildlife sightings. After brunch, you begin traveling toward Ngorongoro, enjoying more wildlife along the route. The landscape gradually changes from open plains to green highlands. By late afternoon, you’ll reach Simba Campsite on the crater rim, where cooler temperatures and panoramic views create a memorable evening setting.

In the early Morning, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive across the crater floor, an area famous for its high concentration of animals. You may encounter buffalo, zebras, hippos, lions, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. A picnic lunch is enjoyed inside the crater before you ascend the steep walls and continue toward the Lake Manyara area. You’ll spend the night at a nearby campsite, reflecting on the day’s incredible experiences.

Your final safari morning takes you into Lake Manyara National Park, a compact park known for its diverse habitats, from forest to lakeshore. You may see elephants, monkeys, hippos, and a variety of birds, including flamingos when conditions are right. The scenery beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment is striking and makes for a beautiful conclusion to your safari. After lunch, you’ll return to Arusha or be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport, bringing your Tanzanian adventure to a close.
