Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater then Transfer to Arusha

At first sight, the Ngorongoro Crater appears like a hidden world untouched by time. Encircled by towering volcanic walls lies an unspoiled wilderness of expansive savannahs, scattered acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes and swamps. Formed 2 to 3 million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed, the crater is renowned for its remarkable geological features and for hosting one of the highest concentrations of large mammals anywhere in Africa.

Descending into the crater is an adventure on its own. Once on the crater floor, you are quickly surrounded by herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles, along with more than 500 species of birds. The area also offers one of the best opportunities to spot the endangered black rhino, occasionally seen grazing across the open grasslands.

After a picnic lunch inside the Crater, you will drive to the airport.
