Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, meet the Adefa Tours team. If arriving in the morning, enjoy a guided city tour beginning with the National Museum of Ethiopia to see Lucy, the famous 3.2-million-year-old fossil. Continue to Entoto Park for a scenic walk in the eucalyptus forest and panoramic views of Addis Ababa. Enjoy lunch at the Addis Ababa Cultural Restaurant before visiting Saint George’s Cathedral and exploring Merkato, Africa’s largest open-air market. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Addis Ababa.

Day 2

Stop at Melka Kunture Archaeological Site to explore prehistoric artifacts, fossils, and stone tools. Continue to Adadi Mariam, Ethiopia’s southernmost rock-hewn church, and visit local priests. Next, explore the UNESCO-listed Tiya Stelae Field with its 36 standing stones engraved with symbolic figures. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing toward Lake Ziway.
