Day 1

Journey from Nairobi to Masai Mara with Rift Valley Stop and Afternoon Game Drive

On day one, we'll pick you up from Nairobi Airport and start the drive out to the Masai Mara, often called the 8th Wonder of the World. It's about 5 hours, and along the way we'll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos. From there it's on to Narok town, where you'll get a few minutes to grab any last minute items and use the bathroom.
Then we continue on to the Mara and check into camp. You'll have lunch, a relaxed afternoon to settle in, and dinner back at camp in the evening. If you'd like an afternoon game drive on arrival day, that's available for an extra park fee: $200 per person from July to December, or $100 per person from January to June.

Day two starts with breakfast, then you're out for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch packed for you. You'll spend the whole day exploring the Mara, tracking down the Big Five.
The reserve is home to lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, leopards, gazelles, hyenas and plenty of bird life besides. Back to camp for dinner and overnight after.

Day three, after breakfast we drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, about 4 hours, arriving in time for lunch.
Lake Nakuru is great for birding, hiking, picnics and game drives, with a good mix of habitats ranging from the lake itself to the escarpment and the ridges around it.
In the afternoon we head out for a game drive around the park, then back for dinner and overnight.

Day four, breakfast at camp, then we hit the road for Amboseli National Park with a lunch stop along the way.
There's a 2 hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha available for $20 per person if you'd like to add it on, then we continue to Amboseli. Check in at camp on arrival, dinner in the evening.

Day five, you wake up to birds calling and Mt. Kilimanjaro's snow capped peak in view. Today's about getting close to Amboseli's elephants, the big cats around, and birdlife like the lesser and greater flamingos.
There's a viewpoint here with a wide view over the park where you can watch elephants and hippos grazing below. Back to camp for dinner and overnight after.

We'll stop at the viewpoint again for that wide view over the park, elephants and hippos grazing below. Lunch after, then it's the drive back to Nairobi Airport for your afternoon drop off.
