Day 1

After breakfast in Arusha, you will meet your professional safari guide for a short briefing about the day’s activities. You then depart for Arusha National Park, a scenic and varied park set on the lower slopes of Mount Meru. The area is famous for its green forests, wide grasslands, volcanic crater lakes, and exceptional birdlife.
You will set out on a guided game drive to explore the park, with opportunities to spot giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, monkeys, and many different bird species. Later, you enjoy a relaxing canoe safari on the Momella Lakes, where you can watch wildlife and birds from the water while taking in the impressive views of Mount Meru.
In the late afternoon, you drive to Kia Lodge near Kilimanjaro International Airport. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast at the lodge, you set off for Serval Wildlife, a peaceful conservation area offering wide views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll stroll around the grounds and observe animals such as giraffes, zebras, elands, and other plains wildlife in a natural, open environment. On clear days, it’s an ideal place to take photos with Kilimanjaro rising in the background.
From there, you travel on to Materuni Village on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. With a local guide, you walk to the impressive Materuni Waterfall, one of the highest and most scenic falls in the area. After the walk, you take part in a Chagga coffee experience, learning how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted, and brewed. You’ll finish by tasting freshly prepared local coffee.
Later in the afternoon, you drive to Moshi town for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, you set off from Moshi toward Mkomazi National Park. This remote and peaceful park is well known for its Black Rhino Sanctuary and its important African Wild Dog conservation efforts.
You spend the day on a rewarding game drive across Mkomazi’s wide savannahs and dramatic terrain, with views stretching toward the Pare and Usambara Mountains. If you are fortunate, you may spot black rhinos, wild dogs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope species, and a variety of birds.
Following the game drive and a picnic lunch, you return to Moshi in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Moshi.
