Your safari begins with a short drive to Arusha National Park, a scenic and diverse park nestled at the base of Mount Meru. The day starts with a guided walking safari, offering a rare chance to explore the wilderness on foot alongside an armed ranger. Walk quietly among giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras while learning about tracks, plants, and the ecosystem. Later, enjoy a game drive through forest and open plains, where you may spot colobus monkeys, flamingos, and even elephants. Arusha to lake manyara

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet incredibly diverse park nestled along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Known for its lush groundwater forest, open plains, and the alkaline lake itself, the park offers a rich variety of habitats in a small area. Enjoy a full-day game drive where you may encounter tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, and hippos. The lake often attracts flocks of flamingos and other birdlife, creating a colorful and vibrant scene. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to relax while surrounded by nature. In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha town

After an early breakfast, drive to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and descend into this natural wonder for a game drive. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five, and offers one of the best chances to spot the rare black rhino. Lions, elephants, and flamingos can all be seen within this unique ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls in the afternoon. You will then return to Arusha, ending your safari with unforgettable memories.
