3-Day Ndutu Great Migration Safari from Zanzibar

Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport then drive to Ndutu Serengeti National Park

You will depart from Zanzibar in the morning by flight to the Ndutu area, where your safari guide will meet you and begin your first game drive.
As you explore the open plains and woodland areas, you will have the chance to see large herds of wildebeest, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and many other wildlife species that follow the Great Migration. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing with more wildlife viewing.

Later in the day, you will head to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Game drive Ndutu area

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a full day of game drives in the Ndutu region, one of the best places to witness the Great Migration, especially during the calving season when thousands of newborn wildebeest fill the plains. You will explore different areas of the open grasslands and seasonal lakes, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators following the herds. Throughout the day, you will observe massive groups of wildebeest and zebras moving across the landscape in one of nature’s most incredible spectacles.

A hot lunch or picnic lunch will be served in a scenic spot within the wilderness, allowing you to relax while surrounded by beautiful views and wildlife sounds. After lunch, you will continue with afternoon game drives and enjoying the golden light of the savannah. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay under the peaceful African sky.

Game drive Ngorongoro Crater and drive back Arusha for Zanzibar flight

Following breakfast, you will head out for a final morning game drive, making the most of your last opportunity to spot wildlife as the plains come alive with early activity. This is often the best time to see predators returning from their ноч hunts, herds grazing peacefully, and birds filling the sky. You will enjoy the stunning scenery of Ndutu in the soft morning light while capturing memorable photographs and savoring the peaceful atmosphere of the wilderness.

Later in the morning, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, carrying with you incredible memories of the Great Migration and Tanzania’s rich wildlife. This marks the end of your unforgettable Ndutu Great Migration Safari experience.
