Day 2

Spend a full day exploring the diverse habitats of the conservancy. After an early breakfast, visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where these primates can be seen in a natural riverine environment. Your guide will explain the rescue efforts that brought these animals from West and Central Africa. Continue your drive to the northern white rhino enclosure to learn about the groundbreaking science being used to save the species from extinction. During the afternoon, enjoy a game drive focusing on the unique predators of the region, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You may also spot the rare Grevy's zebra and Jackson’s hartebeest. Conclude your day with an optional night game drive to see aardvarks and caracals, followed by a celebratory bush dinner today.

Greet the dawn with a final early morning game drive, the best time to see the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya clearly. Watch the savanna come alive as the first light hits the plains, catching the predators before they retreat into the shade for the day. This is also a fantastic time for birdwatching, with over 300 species recorded in the conservancy. After a hearty breakfast at the camp, you will begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi. A final farewell lunch will be served at a scenic hotel along the route. You will arrive in the city by late afternoon for a drop-off at your residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international departure.
