Tsavo East to Amboseli – Journey to the Land of Giants

Rise early for a short morning game drive as the sun casts a golden glow over the savannah. This is often the best time to spot predators before they retreat from the heat of the day. After breakfast, depart Tsavo East and journey toward Amboseli National Park.
Arriving in time for lunch, you’ll immediately notice the dramatic change in scenery. Amboseli is world-renowned for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, standing majestically above the plains. In the afternoon, venture out on a game drive across the park’s open landscapes and lush swamps fed by underground streams from the mountain.
Amboseli is celebrated for its large elephant herds, offering close-up encounters and incredible photographic opportunities with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. You may also spot lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, zebras, and abundant birdlife. As the sun dips behind the mountain, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
