Home to large numbers of hippos and Nile crocodiles, the Mara River is the last major obstacle standing between the wildebeest migration and the relative safety of the Masai Mara. If you're patient and a little lucky, you may even get to witness the death-defying crossing itself where wildebeests and zebras brave the river's currents and crocodiles in an attempt to reach safety on the opposite bank.

Full day central serengeti

You'll spend a whole day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Experience the undisturbed nature in this famous game park. The term ‘Serengeti’ means endless plains in the Maasai language. In the central plains, there are carnivores like leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which occurs between Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. Eagles, flamingoes, ducks, geese, and vultures are among the birds that can be seen in the park. The day will begin in the center of the majestic Serengeti. After a nourishing breakfast, you will continue your journey into the plains. Since you have a full day of game driving, you will likely view hundreds of animals that find their home within the Serengeti’s endless plains. This day will likely offer sightings of the African mammals that make the park famous—lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and water buffalos, all within a few feet of the jeep.
