2-Day Materuni Waterfalls & Arusha National Park Tour

Arusha - Materuni Waterfalls - Arusha

You will be picked up from the airport or Arusha and driven to Materuni Village. First, you will visit the Materuni Waterfalls, which are about a 40-minute walk away. Along the way, your guide will inform you about Chagga culture, village life, and explain the surrounding flora and fauna. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see they are over 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom is an inviting place for a refreshing swim, so don’t forget your swimwear!

After enjoying the scenery, you will return with your guide to Materuni Village, where a coffee experience awaits. Here, you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted, and processed. You will also be invited to help grind the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances and is a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Later, you will return to Arusha for your overnight stay.

Arusha National Park - Arusha

Early in the morning, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you with lunch boxes in hand to Arusha National Park (an approximately 40 minute journey). After the game drive, you will also explore the park on a walking safari accompanied by a park ranger. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including African elephants, Cape buffalo, hippos, zebras, giraffes, and the shy wildebeest. It also features diverse landscapes, from open savannah to acacia scrubland and lush rainforest.

Once the activities are complete, you will be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination, which is where our service ends.
