Day 1

You depart from Nairobi in the morning. You'll be picked up either from the Airport or from a hotel as per your request. If you want to be picked up from the Airport, you need to have an early morning arrival. The safari starts by traveling south towards Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of rural landscapes and, on clear days, the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Upon arrival, you head straight into the park for your first exciting game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, open plains, and diverse wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of birdlife. After this memorable introduction to the park, you continue to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.

Day 2

This morning you will leave the Kilimanjaro behind and continue the trip. It's a long drive today, but a very scenic one, passing into the Great Rift Valley, where sweeping views and dramatic escarpments set the tone for the days ahead. Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, you’ll step aboard a boat for a tranquil safari across the shimmering freshwater lake. As you glide over the water, keep an eye out for pods of hippos, fish eagles swooping overhead, and the rich birdlife that thrives along the shores.
After the boat safari, you’ll land on Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. This private sanctuary is home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and countless birds, all roaming freely in an open, predator-free environment. Walking among them offers an intimate perspective that’s impossible from a vehicle. After this immersive experience, you’ll head to your lodge in Naivasha to relax, enjoy the gardens or take in the peaceful lakeside atmosphere as the sun sets.

Today you travel from Naivasha towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, enjoying a scenic journey through the Great Rift Valley and Kenya’s beautiful countryside. Along the way, you pass changing landscapes, from green highlands and rolling hills to vast open savannahs, offering a glimpse into rural life, local villages, and Kenya’s remarkable natural beauty. The drive itself is part of the adventure, with plenty of impressive views along the route.

Upon arrival in the Maasai Mara, your safari experience begins immediately with an exciting game drive. As you explore the reserve’s endless plains, you search for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and many other iconic wildlife species. With a bit of luck, you may even spot cheetahs or leopards roaming the savannah. After this first introduction to the park’s extraordinary wildlife, you continue to your lodge or camp to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and sounds of the African bush.

Day 4

Today you have a full day to immerse yourself in the magic of the Maasai Mara. You set off early, when the wildlife is most active and the morning light paints the plains in soft golden tones. Your guide will take you deep into the reserve, exploring different ecosystems, from open grasslands teeming with grazers to riverine forests where elephants and buffalo often gather. Throughout the day you’ll search for the Big Five, observe predators on the move, and witness the everyday drama of life in the wild. A picnic lunch is enjoyed under the shade of an acacia tree, with panoramic views stretching out in every direction. In the afternoon, you continue your game drive as the temperatures cool and animals become active again. You return to the lodge in the early evening to unwind, share stories, and enjoy dinner surrounded by the sounds of the savannah.

After breakfast, you begin your drive back to Nairobi. As you leave the Mara behind, you can enjoy the changing landscapes along the way. The drive takes around five to six hours, and you’ll arrive in the city later in the day. Your safari adventure comes to an end, full of incredible memories and unforgettable wildlife encounters. The tour ends in Nairobi, we can take you to a hotel booked by you, book additional accommodation for you or take you to the airport if you have a late flight out.
