On day 3 we head to Lake Manyara National Park, a hidden gem celebrated for its dramatic scenery and rich wildlife. Think panoramic views, cascading waterfalls, clear babbling streams and bubbling hot springs. On your full-day game drive, keep your eyes open for tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and a dazzling variety of birdlife along the lake’s edge. As the day winds down, we’ll continue to Africa Safari Manyara Escarpment, where comfort and relaxation await after your adventure.

After breakfast, head to Lake Natron and hike to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls along the western edge of the lake. Pass narrow gorges and lush palms, then cool off swimming in the natural slot canyons. A Maasai guide from the local cultural centre will accompany you, sharing insights while you enjoy the refreshing contrast between the arid surroundings and the lush waterfall area.

Go on a Flamingo Walk at Lake Natron with a traditional Maasai Guide, where endangered lesser flamingos transform the alkaline waters into a sea of pink. Transfer to Arusha
Transfer to Arusha
All good things end! Enjoy your last meal at Africa Safari Karatu prior to checking out, ready for your journey to Arusha. After meeting your driver-guide at the reception, you will head off on an easy two-hour drive back to where it all started, drop off is in Arusha or Arusha airport, an additional transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport can be arranged for an extra cost.
