Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional Wild Experience Safaris representative. After a friendly greeting and brief introduction, you will be escorted to a comfortable private vehicle and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

During the drive, you may enjoy views of the surrounding landscapes, local villages and daily life, offering a pleasant first impression of Tanzania. Upon arrival at your hotel, assistance with check-in will be provided, and you will receive a short safari briefing covering the exciting journey ahead. If time allows you can opt to have a glance of the city center.

The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax, recover from your travels, and prepare for your unforgettable safari adventure beginning the next day. You will enjoy your dinner at the hotel and rest in comfort as you anticipate the remarkable wildlife encounters and memorable moments ahead.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

This morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you and begin the drive to Tarangire National Park. The 2hours journey winds through gently undulating plains dotted with trees and open grasslands.

Along the way, you may encounter Maasai communities in their vibrant attire, walking, riding bicycles & herding livestock. Upon entering the park, you’ll be greeted by the vast landscapes and the famous herds of elephants that roam freely, alongside a rich diversity of other wildlife.

Admire seasonal wetlands, savannahs, and the life-sustaining Tarangire, while searching for zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. Lions may be spotted on the prowl, or leopards resting high in the trees.

After a rewarding game drive, you will drive to Karatu, where a delicious dinner awaits, followed by a perfect retreat to rest and relax.

Day 3-4

Serengeti National Park

On Day 3, after breakfast in Karatu, you’ll set off for Serengeti National Park, driving across the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands and sweeping savannah plains. Along the way, your guide will brief you on the park’s ecosystem and point out wildlife and Maasai villages. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, spotting zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and elephants. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Tukaone Weavers Camp inside the Serengeti National Park.

Day 4 is a full-day game drive. From sunrise, embark on guided game drives across the endless plains, exploring kopjes and riverine areas. Expect to see predators like lions and leopards, herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of birds. Picnic lunch in the park, with additional afternoon drives, ensures maximum wildlife sightings. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight relaxation, enjoying the Serengeti sunset and night sounds.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast in the Serengeti, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the world’s largest volcanic caldera for a full-day safari adventure. The drive takes you through scenic highlands, where your guide will highlight local flora, fauna, and Maasai villages along the way.

Once inside the crater floor, enjoy a game drive among its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Stop for a picnic lunch amid the crater’s breathtaking landscapes. In the afternoon, continue exploring its plains, swamps, and soda lakes before ascending in the late afternoon.

You will then drive to Karatu for your dinner and an overnight stay at a Marera Valley lodge, reflecting on a day filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters and stunning scenery.

Day 6

Arusha to Zanzibar Island

Arusha to Zanzibar Island

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to the hotel. After settling you can opt to begin a guided exploration of historic Stone Town, the cultural and historical heart of the island.

You will walk through its narrow streets lined with beautifully carved wooden doors and coral-stone buildings, while visiting key landmarks including the former slave market, House of Wonders, and the Sultan’s Palace. You will also experience the lively food and spice market, where locals trade fresh produce, spices, and seafood, offering an authentic glimpse into daily life.

This tour reveals Zanzibar’s rich blend of African, Arab, and European heritage. Later, you will return to Kholle House for your overnight, where you can relax and enjoy a romantic evening in this charming boutique hotel.

On these 2 days you are dedicated to pure relaxation along the stunning shores of Zanzibar Island, home to some of the finest beaches in the world. You will spend your time at leisure on soft white sands in Nungwi beach known to be one of the best beaches in Zanzibar, surrounded by swaying palm trees and the calm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying peaceful moments together.

The gentle sea breeze and tranquil atmosphere create an ideal romantic escape. If you will be seeking more adventure, a variety of optional activities are available at additional cost. You may choose a Spa and massage sessions, dolphin excursion, a visit the green turtles, snorkeling or scuba diving to explore vibrant coral reefs, paddle surfing across clear waters, or a traditional sunset cruise aboard a wooden dhow. You can also enjoy a village cultural visit, including a Swahili cooking experience, offering a deeper connection to the island’s rich traditions.
