Day 2

Samburu National Reserve

Samburu National Reserve

Depart after morning breakfast by flight to the semi-desert Northern Frontier of Samburu. Check in at your hotel and short rest after a tasty lunch. Enjoy a thrilling afternoon game drive in the woodlands and open savannah areas of Samburu plains in search of the Samburu special Five and the rocky areas of the Koitogor hill provide a safe habitat for different bird species to thrive in. Evening Sundowner in a scenic setting in the wild with your favourite drink in hand as the gorgeous sunset unfolds right before your eyes.

Day 3

Samburu

Samburu

Early morning sunrise golden lights along the Ewaso Ngíro River and Buffalo Springs Circuit, the best time to capture lions, cheetahs, and leopards on the move and also for bird watchers with over 100 species. Ewaso Ng’iro River is also an attraction of herds of elephants displaying fascinating behaviors that includes mud bathing and swimming in the river during hot afternoons. Return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you go on a full day game drive in the park with packed lunch following elephants through the riverine forests and tracking the elusive wild dogs known to roam this reserve. Expect sightings of the Samburu Special Five, among other wildlife. As the sun sets, the golden light transforms the rugged landscapes into a picture-perfect safari scene. Bush dinner served in the raw wilderness of the African savannah on the sand bank along river Ewaso Ng’iro with a tribal dance performance for entertainment around a bonfire.

Morning game drive with eyes fixed on the unique terrain characterized by golden plains, cliffs, rocky outcrops, and hills that create unique scenic backdrops for landscape photos and creating desert-like scenes with wildlife silhouettes. Besides Samburu Special Five in their natural habitation, it’s also a home for ground birds, the colourful songbirds, raptors and cliff-dwelling birds hidden in the rocky areas of the hill. Return to your lodge for lunch and short time for relaxation. Afternoon tribal walks with Samburu Warriors who will be happy to share with you about their culture and life style. Their iconic beadwork and colorful attire to their unique warrior ceremonies and traditional dances, Samburu culture adds a profound dimension to your safari experience.

After a hearty early morning breakfast depart Samburu to L. Nakuru traversing the vast landscapes of the Northern Frontier and checking-in to your hotel. Late afternoon game drive to see one of the largest ornithological spots, Flamingo, and a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6

Masai Mara National Reserve

Early morning breakfast and drive to Maasai Mara Kenya’s premier wildlife park and is the home to the greatest concentration of game animals in the world. We continue to explore this afternoon game drive in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. At sunset we will visit a section of the Mara River where we hope to see many hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning game drive in the park and return back to your camp for breakfast. After breakfast you go on a full day game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, etc. Maasai Mara the vast, open grasslands of the Serengeti-Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. These includes over 1.4 million wildebeest which migrate in an enormous, struggling herd each year between the southern part of the Serengeti to the northern part and back again. Dinner and overnight.

Early morning pick up from your camp for your Hot Air Balloon Safari lasting an hour and later have your Bush breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight from Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains and the huge herds of elephants which take on a red colour from the dust they coat themselves in. Afternoon game drive and later evening sundowner under the vibrant hues of the settling sun. Enjoy a refreshing drink as you soak in the serene atmosphere offering sweeping views of the iconic African landscape with the Masai guide sharing stories and insights into their rich traditions and the fascinating wildlife around you.
