The lake area is often filled with thousands of birds and provides a beautiful view where water, forest, and savannah landscapes meet. During certain seasons, the lake attracts large numbers of flamingos and other water birds, making it a paradise for bird lovers.

Lake Manyara National Park is home to a wide variety of animals. One of the most famous attractions of the park is its tree-climbing lions, which are rarely seen in other places. These lions sometimes rest on the branches of acacia trees, especially during the hot hours of the day.

After breakfast, the clients depart from lodge and begin their scenic journey toward the famous Serengeti National Park, heading to the central region known as Seronera. This journey is not only a transfer between destinations but also an exciting safari experience filled with beautiful landscapes and wildlife viewing along the way.

As the safari continues, the road slowly descends into the endless plains of the Serengeti. The word “Serengeti” comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning “endless plains,” and this becomes very clear as the vast savannah stretches as far as the eye can see. Northern Serengeti offers an exciting opportunity to witness incredible wildlife encounters. The region is especially famous for the Great Migration, one of the world’s most amazing natural events. During the migration season, usually between July and October, hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras move through this area searching for fresh grazing land.

One of the most dramatic moments occurs when the herds attempt to cross the Mara River. Clients may witness thousands of animals gathering at the riverbanks before courageously crossing the water while crocodiles wait beneath the surface. This powerful wildlife spectacle is often considered the highlight of a Serengeti safari.
