Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Activity: Private Drive & Afternoon Game Drive
Your private driver-guide meets you at your Nairobi hotel or JKIA for a briefing before departing for Amboseli. The scenic drive takes approximately 4-5 hours through Maasai country. Arrive at your midrange lodge in time for lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon (around 4:00 PM), embark on your first private game drive across Amboseli's vast plains. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Search for lions, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, and giraffes. Drive towards seasonal Lake Amboseli where you might spot hippos and wading birds. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and begin your journey back to Nairobi. You'll arrive in the early afternoon with drop-off at JKIA or your city hotel, marking the end of your memorable midrange safari.
