Zanzbar to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)

Your safari adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar. After a scenic drive to the airport, you will board a light aircraft for a breathtaking flight to the northern part of the Serengeti. Upon landing at Kogatende Airstrip at approximately 11:00 am, your private safari guide will warmly welcome you. Your adventure immediately begins with a game drive toward the famous Mara River, where you may witness the dramatic Great Migration river crossings, one of nature’s most spectacular events. After an exciting afternoon in the wilderness, you will head to your camp to relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and settle in for a comfortable overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

You will begin your day at sunrise with a full-day game drive across the vast plains of Northern Serengeti. While the Mara River crossings of the Great Migration are the highlight, this region offers an abundance of wildlife and breathtaking scenery throughout the year. Northern Serengeti is also a paradise for bird lovers, hosting more than 500 bird species. You may spot everything from the large ostrich and the distinctive secretary bird striding across the grasslands to majestic black eagles soaring high above the savannah. After a rewarding day of wildlife encounters and exploration, you will return to your camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

On your final day, you will enjoy an early morning game drive a perfect opportunity to spot wildlife during the most active hours of the day. As you soar above the plains one last time, you will reflect on the unforgettable experiences and memories created during your safari adventure.
