Upon arrival, your adventure begins immediately with an afternoon game drive across the park’s vast plains. A packed lunch will be provided so you can maximize your time exploring.
Serengeti is world-famous for its immense migrating herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope that move rhythmically across the plains in search of fresh grazing. Resident predators — lions, leopards, and cheetahs — roam these grasslands, creating dramatic and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Sunrise in Serengeti National park

Wake before sunrise for a magical early morning game drive — one of the most rewarding moments of any safari. As the sun rises over the savannah, predators return from the hunt and herbivores begin grazing in the cool morning air.
After brunch, you will depart Serengeti and journey toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will spend the night at a beautiful lodge in Karatu, get to experience the local culture and buy handmade souvenirs from artisans.

Ngorongoro Crater, the Eden of Africa

After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Often referred to as Africa’s “Garden of Eden,” the crater is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals year-round.
As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater is one of Africa’s natural wonders and the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world. Within a relatively small area, you may encounter buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and the endangered black rhino, along with spectacular birdlife including flamingos, eagles, and buzzards.
A scenic picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the crater before ascending and returning to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
