The expedition begins with an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where your dedicated safari guide welcomes you into Tanzania’s wild north.
From there, you journey to the green foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro to explore the beautiful village trails leading to Materuni Waterfalls.
A gentle hike takes you through banana farms and Chagga homesteads before revealing the cascading waterfall hidden within the forest. Feel the cool mist, breathe in mountain air, and absorb the rhythm of local life.
After the hike, immerse yourself in a traditional Chagga coffee experience — roasting, grinding, and brewing Arabica beans by hand while learning about the region’s heritage.
Later, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire; Into the land of Giants

After breakfast, your safari deepens as you drive toward the baobab-dotted wilderness of Tarangire National Park.
Named after the Tarangire River, this park becomes a magnet for wildlife during the dry season. Massive elephant herds move gracefully beneath towering baobabs, often within breathtaking proximity.
Your full-day game drive offers opportunities to encounter:
• Elephants in impressive numbers
• Lions lounging in golden grass
• Giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, and bushbucks
• A variety of birdlife along the riverbanks
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your wildlife exploration.
By late afternoon, transfer to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Descent into a Natural Wonder Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, you journey toward the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth.
The descent into the crater feels like entering another world — a vast natural amphitheater teeming with life. Within this enclosed ecosystem, you may encounter:
• The endangered black rhino
• Large prides of lions
• Buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles
• Over 500 recorded bird species
Because wildlife remains within the crater year-round, sightings are often exceptional and concentrated.
After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend and transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar.
