Nairobi to Amboseli & Afternoon Game Drive.
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or residence in Nairobi. Depart by road towards Amboseli National Park, located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. The scenic drive takes you through local towns and Maasai landscapes, offering a glimpse of rural Kenya.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and check-in. After some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of free-roaming elephants, often seen walking gracefully against the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. You may also spot lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and a wide variety of bird species.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Amboseli

After an early breakfast, depart for an extensive morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Explore the park’s open plains, acacia woodlands, and swampy areas fed by underground springs from Mount Kilimanjaro. The swamps attract hippos and numerous bird species, making it ideal for photography and birdwatching.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive focusing on areas not previously covered. Capture spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting), especially during sunrise or sunset when the mountain is most visible.
