Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Bujumbura toward Kibira National Park, one of Burundi’s most important rainforests. Known for its cool climate and dense vegetation, Kibira offers a refreshing contrast to the city and is highly appreciated by international travelers.

After nature walk in Kibira, the tour continues to the Teza Tea Plantations, where rolling green hills stretch as far as the eye can see. This area is especially loved by visitors for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful landscapes.

In the afternoon, you visit the iconic Gishora Drum Sanctuary, the most famous and authentic drum site in Burundi. This is widely regarded as the best traditional drum experience in the country, deeply rooted in Burundian history and culture and loved by tourists from around the world.

Later in the day, you visit Magic Island, a quiet forest area known for its natural beauty and birdsong. Often described by travelers as a “forest of singing birds,” this stop allows you to slow down, enjoy nature, and experience Burundi’s calm countryside.

In the afternoon, you begin the scenic drive back to Bujumbura, passing through rural landscapes and hills.
