Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation while enjoying views of the surrounding wilderness. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the park’s open savannahs and swampy wetlands, which attract large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeest. Keep an eye out for predators such as lions and hyenas as the sun begins to set. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the African bush.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli National Park and begin your scenic journey toward the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. The drive offers changing landscapes, from the dry Amboseli plains to the greener highlands of central Kenya. Arrive at your lakeside resort in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on the calm waters of Lake Naivasha, where pods of hippos can often be seen resting in the shallows and African fish eagles soar overhead. Later, you may decide to go for an optional visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among freely roaming giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. After breakfast, check out of your camp and begin your journey back to Nairobi. You may encounter grazing herbivores, elephants moving across the plains, or even predators returning from early morning hunts. After exiting the reserve, continue the drive through Maasai countryside and the scenic Rift Valley escarpment, with optional brief stops along the way.
