Zanzibar – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your professional Armadillo Adventures guide will warmly welcome you and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park, drive through scenic Tanzanian countryside.
Tarangire is known for its striking landscape dotted with giant baobab trees and large concentrations of elephants. During your game drive, you may encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and various antelope species. The Park is also home to predators such as lions, leopards, and occasionally cheetahs.
Around midday, you will stop at a scenic picnic site inside the park to enjoy your packed lunch while surrounded by the sounds of nature. After lunch, continue exploring different parts of the park before heading to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will travel toward the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, part of the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend nearly 600 meters to the crater floor for an extraordinary wildlife experience.
This natural wonder supports an incredible variety of animals, including elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s unique ecosystem and permanent water sources attract wildlife year-round, making it one of the best safari locations in Africa.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated sites inside the crater while taking in the breathtaking surroundings. After your game drive, you will ascend the crater and begin the journey back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel, marking the end of your memorable two-day safari with Armadillo Adventures.
