Game Drive Inside the Ngorongoro Crater

After pick-up from the airport or your hotel, you'll drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater for a full day game drive, where high wildlife density maximizes sightings in a single day. After the safari, drive to the Karatu area for a comfortable overnight stay at a budget lodge or campsite.

Game Drive and Engagement Activities in Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park and begin the day with a morning game drive through the park’s groundwater forest and open plains, known for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and diverse birdlife.

At around 11am, you'll get to enjoy a small guided treetop canopy walk, offering elevated views of the forest and help you build you a good appetite for lunch.

Following the nature walk, you'll then continue with a scenic game drive towards the lakeshore, where canoeing adventure on Lake Manyara (water levels permitting) will begin at around 3:00 pm.

After the activity, exit the park at around 4pm and return to Arusha or the airport for evening drop-off.

Important note:

The drive from Lake Manyara to Arusha City or Arusha Airport is approximately 3 hours and 4 hours to Kilimanjaro international Airport. If the guest has scheduled a flight on this same day, they will need to book with flights times that take the tour timings mentioned here in careful consideration.
