Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. This vibrant town lies at the base of Mount Meru and serves as the starting point for many wildlife adventures. After check-in, you will receive a detailed safari briefing about your itinerary, safety guidelines, and the parks you will visit. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, or explore a small part of the city before preparing for the safari beginning the next day.

Day 2
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks, well known for its ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year, especially during the dry season. During your game drive, you may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird lovers with more than 500 recorded bird species. After a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive, you will proceed to your lodge or tented camp near the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Tarangire – Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast, begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive passes through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro highlands, offering breathtaking views of valleys, villages, and wildlife along the way. As you enter the Serengeti ecosystem, the landscape opens into vast endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. This region, particularly Central Serengeti, is known for its high concentration of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive while searching for wildlife and learning about the Serengeti ecosystem before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Today you will spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich plains of Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations and home to the spectacular Great Migration. Morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to spot a wide variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeests. The open Savannah landscape makes Serengeti one of the best places in Africa for wildlife photography and predator sightings. Your experienced guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas depending on animal movements and seasonal conditions.

Day 5
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast and a final morning game drive in Serengeti, you will travel toward the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife due to its permanent water sources and fertile grazing land. Upon arrival, you will descend approximately 600 meters to the crater floor for a game drive. Here you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhinoceros. After enjoying a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you will ascend the crater and drive to your lodge in the nearby highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 6
Lake Manyara – Return to Arusha
Lake Manyara – Return to Arusha
On the final day of your safari, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park, a small but incredibly diverse park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is famous for its lush groundwater forest, large troops of baboons, elephants, and its unique tree-climbing lions. The alkaline lake attracts thousands of flamingos and other water birds, making it an excellent destination for bird watching and photography. After a scenic morning game drive and picnic lunch, you will return to Arusha where your safari adventure concludes with a drop-off at the airport.
