Your safari begins with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. You will drive south towards Amboseli National Park, a stunning reserve famed for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the jumbos. Upon arrival at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, you will check in and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive, spotting large herds of elephants and other wildlife against the breathtaking backdrop of Africa’s tallest mountain. Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening under the stars.

Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, spend a full day exploring Amboseli’s rich ecosystem. Morning and afternoon game drives offer excellent opportunities to photograph elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and an array of bird species. In between, return to Amboseli Sopa Lodge for lunch and leisure time or have a picnic lunch at Amboseli Observation Hill. Enjoy the sweeping views of the park from the lodge grounds before setting off for an evening drive. Dinner and overnight will be at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha, located in the beautiful Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort in time for lunch. In the afternoon, experience a peaceful boat ride across the lake, getting close to hippos and abundant birdlife, followed by a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can walk amongst freely roaming wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.
