Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park via Arusha Airport

Our driver will pick you up to catch your flight to Arusha. Your guide will expect you at the airport and proceed with your safari tour to Tarangire. It takes about a 2 hours 30 minutes road drive to Tarangire National Park. As you explore the park, you will encounter its iconic baobab trees and elephants, the two features that give this park its unique character. But there’s so much more to discover. Beyond the vast herds of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys, and zebras, you’ll find a rugged landscape of rocky hills, rivers, swamps, and savannah plains. Tarangire is renowned as a lion stronghold, so you have an excellent chance of spotting these majestic creatures, along with leopards and cheetahs. You'll enjoy your hot lunch around lunch hour and proceed with your game drive. Upon request, you can experience the Maasai village and learn a bit from their culture. As the day draws closer, you'll depart to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro crater & Overnight in Serengeti

You will begin the day with a morning game drive in the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. You'll wake up to the bird calls, meaning another day in the wild side of Africa is here. The crater's unique ecosystem offers excellent opportunities to spot various wildlife, including rare and endangered rhinos. Be prepared for unforgettable encounters with an array of animals roaming freely in this natural wonder. After breakfast, you'll depart with your guide to the crater floor as you enjoy a game drive till lunch break. Enjoy your bush-served lunch, then proceed with a transfer game drive as you exit the crater to Serengeti for the overnight. Optional; Crater Rim Walk.

Serengeti National Park Full Gamedrive

Before dawn, enjoy breakfast and head out on morning game drive when predators are most active. Watch for lions on kopjes, cheetahs on the plains and leopards in rocky outcrops, with excellent photo opportunities at sunrise. Proceed with full-day game drive across the Serengeti’s varied habitats. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic spot, continue tracking wildlife in the afternoon, and pause for sun sets over the plains. At day's end, we settle into the tented lodge for dinner and overnight, eagerly awaiting tomorrow's early morning adventures in this remarkable wilderness before flying back to Zanzibar.

Early Morning Gamedrive & Fly out to Zanzibar

Focus on last chances to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and grazing herds marking the end of your memorable adventure.
Your guide will transfer you to the Serengeti airstrip (timing depends on the scheduled charter), where luggage will be weighed and checked for the flight. Charter flight to Arusha or direct to Zanzibar (depending on schedule) expect brief pre-flight briefing and scenic aerial views of the Serengeti. Flight time varies: typically 45–90 minutes to Arusha, 1.5–3 hours direct to Zanzibar including connections.
On arrival in Zanzibar, meet-and-greet at the airport and private transfer to your beach hotel. Check-in and time to relax. Optional afternoon activities available: beach time, snorkeling, spice tour, or Stone Town excursion.
Practical notes: pack essentials the night before, keep travel documents and hand luggage accessible, limit luggage to charter allowance, dress in layers for cool mornings and sun protection for the day.
