Begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading north through the scenic central highlands toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Along the way, enjoy views of coffee farms, small rural towns, and the beautiful landscapes around Nanyuki, a charming town located near the equator. There is usually a brief stop at the equator crossing point for photos before continuing to the conservancy.
You arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and some relaxation while enjoying views of the surrounding wilderness and, on clear days, the majestic peaks of Mount Kenya. After lunch, the adventure begins with your first afternoon game drive across the vast plains of the conservancy. Ol Pejeta is renowned for its rich wildlife population, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and several antelope species. It is also famous for protecting both black and white rhinos, making it one of the best places in Kenya to see these endangered animals.

This is dedicated to exploring the remarkable wildlife and conservation areas of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. After an early breakfast, you depart for a morning game drive when animals are most active. The conservancy hosts a rich variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and many antelope species roaming across the open savannah. Ol Pejeta is particularly famous for its strong rhino conservation program, offering one of the best opportunities in Kenya to see both black and white rhinos in their natural habitat.
Later, visit the renowned Sweetwater's Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees are rehabilitated and protected. Here you learn about the sanctuary’s conservation efforts and the inspiring stories behind the rescued chimps. After lunch at the lodge or a picnic in the bush, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring different habitats while your guide shares insights about wildlife behavior and conservation.

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast at your lodge or camp in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, you have time to relax and take in the stunning surroundings one last time. Depending on your interests, you may stroll around the grounds, enjoy birdwatching, or simply soak in the views of the expansive savannah and distant Mount Kenya peaks. After packing and checking out, you begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi, passing through picturesque landscapes, small towns, farms that showcase rural Kenyan life.
On the way, you can stop for photos, refreshments, or a brief visit to notable sites, capturing memories of your northern Kenya adventure. Your guide shares stories about the regions you pass, including insights into local culture, wildlife, and conservation efforts. Arriving in Nairobi by late afternoon, you are dropped off at your hotel, guesthouse, or airport, marking the end of an unforgettable 3-day safari filled with wildlife encounters, conservation experiences, and breathtaking scenery.
