Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, clients make their own way to Arusha unless an optional airport transfer has been arranged in advance at an extra cost. If booked, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to a hotel in Arusha. This day is reserved for rest and relaxation after your journey, allowing time to unwind, acclimatize, and enjoy the calm atmosphere.

Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or opt for a short visit to Arusha town to experience local markets, culture, and cuisine. In the evening, meet your safari guide for a welcome briefing and dinner, during which the full safari itinerary will be explained, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.
