Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve
Today’s itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss it with your driver-guide.
The Masai Mara is famous for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration that takes place between July and October. During this time, over a million wildebeest, accompanied by thousands of other herbivores, migrate from Serengeti National Park to the Mara in search of greener pastures. Hundreds of lions and hyenas follow them, preying on the old and weaker animals. The legendary black-maned lion is found here, and cheetahs hunt effectively in these open grasslands.
