A warm welcome awaits you at JKIA (TBA). After immigration, enjoy a scenic 2–3-hour drive to Lake Naivasha, about 90 km northwest of Nairobi. This freshwater lake, fringed by fever trees and set against Mount Longonot, is rich in wildlife, including giraffes, hippos, and waterbuck, as well as over 100 bird species such as fish eagles and pelicans. Your experience includes a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha, offering close views of hippos and birdlife. You will also enjoy a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelope in a safe, open environment—perfect for photography. Optionally, explore Hell’s Gate National Park before transferring to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After an early breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, located approximately 270 km from Nairobi, with a scenic drive of about 5–6 hours depending on road conditions. Widely regarded as Kenya’s premier wildlife destination, the Masai Mara is famed for its extraordinary density and diversity of wildlife. Over 95 species of mammals, reptiles, and amphibians, along with more than 400 bird species, have been recorded here. Visitors have excellent chances of spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, and various antelope species, as well as elusive leopards and cheetahs. The Mara is also home to the spectacular Great Migration, one of nature’s most remarkable events. Arrive at your lodge in time for a hot lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to begin your unforgettable safari experience.

After an early breakfast, set out on a sunrise game drive, the best time to witness predators in action as big cats hunt across the plains. The Masai Mara, Kenya’s most celebrated reserve, is renowned for its remarkable diversity of wildlife, with over 95 species of mammals, reptiles, and amphibians, and more than 400 bird species recorded. Sightings often include lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, and a variety of antelope, as well as elusive leopards and cheetahs. In the afternoon, enjoy a Maasai village visit (subject to availability), hosted by a Maasai Moran who will share insights into traditional life, including the use of wild herbs and trees. Engage with the community through cultural dances and handicrafts. Later, continue exploring the reserve before returning to your lodge for evening relaxation.

Early this morning, you will be transferred from your lodge to the Mara airstrip, a short drive of approximately 30–60 minutes depending on your camp location, for your scheduled flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, connect seamlessly with your onward flight to Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in the city center, a journey of approximately 50 km taking about 1–1.5 hours depending on traffic. Check in and enjoy a hot lunch, followed by time to relax after your journey. Later in the evening, enjoy dinner at your lodge as you prepare for the next stage of your East African adventure.

Meet and greet your personal driver-guide and depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, located approximately 120 km from Arusha, with a drive of about 2–2.5 hours. This vast park, covering nearly 3,000 sq km, is famed for its ancient baobab trees, some believed to be over 1,000 years old. Your game drive focuses on the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracting large concentrations of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and lions. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your exploration, with chances to spot over 500 bird species. Later, exit the park and proceed to your lodge just outside Tarangire for dinner and evening relaxation.

Renowned as one of Africa’s finest wildlife destinations, the Serengeti is home to the Big Five and the world-famous Great Migration. It holds one of the largest concentrations of wildlife on earth, set against sweeping short-grass plains dotted with rocky outcrops known as kopjes—prime vantage points for predators such as leopards. Enjoy game viewing en route as you enter the park, taking in the vast landscapes and abundant wildlife. After a rewarding day of exploration, arrive at your camp to unwind, enjoy dinner, and relax under the African night sky.

Optional: Experience a magical hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti National Park. You will be transferred from your lodge to the launch site before dawn, where you will receive a safety briefing and watch the balloon being inflated. As the sun rises, gently lift off and drift across the plains. Your pilot expertly adjusts the altitude, sometimes flying low for close-up views of wildlife and at other times higher for breathtaking panoramic views of the Serengeti. The flight lasts about one hour, depending on weather conditions. Upon landing, celebrate with a traditional champagne toast followed by a full English bush breakfast. Receive your Serengeti Balloon certificate before continuing with a full-day game drive in the wildlife-rich Seronera area, before returning to camp for evening relaxation.

Depart the Serengeti and drive approximately 2–3 hours to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. An optional stop can be made at Olduvai Gorge Museum, renowned as the site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered early Homo sapiens fossils, offering fascinating insight into human origins. Upon arrival, visit a Maasai Boma to experience the traditional lifestyle, culture, homes, dances, and handicrafts of the Maasai people. Later in the afternoon, continue to your lodge near the crater rim for dinner and evening relaxation, overlooking one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes.

After a rewarding day, exit the crater and drive to your lodge in the Karatu region for dinner and evening relaxation.

For fishing enthusiasts, Zanzibar is renowned for some of the world’s best deep-sea fishing, particularly in the Pemba Channel between Unguja and Pemba Islands.
