We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an optional Arusha city tour to get familiar with Tanzania before your safari. In the evening, you will receive a full briefing about the upcoming tour. You may also take an optional short hike to Kilima Moto for a beautiful sunset view.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00am, introduce you to your guide, and begin a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive as you spot wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and, with luck, predators like lions and cheetahs.

At midday, you will stop at a scenic picnic site near the river to enjoy lunch while watching wildlife. After lunch, continue your afternoon game drive before exiting the park around 5:30pm. You will then drive to your accommodation at Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will depart for a 6-hour drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will briefly stop at the viewpoint to enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater. There is also an optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about their culture (additional US$10–20).

You will arrive in the Serengeti in the late afternoon and begin a game drive in the Seronera area, known for its rich wildlife. Enjoy the sunset while spotting animals, and with some luck, you may witness a predator hunt. Later, you will head to your accommodation at Tukaone Weavers Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Northern Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, we set out to explore the wider plains of Serengeti National Park, heading northwest while following wildlife movements. With a picnic lunch, we enjoy a full-day game drive focusing on the Mara River, where we may witness the dramatic migration crossings.

We continue our game drive until evening before heading to Safari Haven Migration Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Wildlife can often be seen around the camp.

After an early breakfast, we travel west within Serengeti National Park toward the Mara River. Here, you may witness large herds of wildebeest gathering as they prepare for the dramatic river crossing during the Great Migration.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch, continuing wildlife viewing until evening. Later, we return to Safari Haven Migration Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, we will begin a game drive in the southern Serengeti, making our way toward the Seronera area. This region is renowned for its abundant wildlife, where you may spot lions, leopards, elephants, and a variety of herbivores. Along the way, we will take time to enjoy the stunning landscapes, observe animals in their natural habitat, and capture unforgettable moments of the Serengeti’s beauty.

In the late afternoon, we will depart the Serengeti and embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Safari Lodge. Ngorongoro Safari Lodge is located inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, perched on the crater rim.

Day 7

After an early breakfast, we will descend into the crater at 6:15am for a morning game drive. Our primary goal will be to spot the elusive black rhino, one of the hardest animals to find in this stunning landscape. In addition, the crater floor offers excellent opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and hippos.

After lunch, we will conclude our game drive and begin the ascent from the crater. From there, we will head directly to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
